A Short History of Kemurigakure 1: The Founding The history of Kemurigakure, the Village Hidden in the Smoke, finds its roots several generations back from the current day in the chilly Northern waters in which the Land of Ash resides. Built at the foot of the great volcano Hinabe-yama in the tiny island nation of the Land of Ash is the Shinobi 'Village Hidden in the Smoke.' Lead by the noble 2nd Kaibunkage, the Smoke Village operates ever at the risk of annihilation by Hinabe-yama, yet uses the fires of adversity to temper their skills.
